Dravidian University, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh has invited applications for admission to M.Phil (full-time, part-time) and Ph.D (full-time, part-time) in the disciplines as detailed below. The notification for Dravidian University MPhil PhD Admissions 2015, DURCET 2015 has been announced.
These courses are offered in the following disciplines: Philosophy, Comparative Dravidian Literature, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Tulu, Linguistics, Folklore, History, Education, Physical Education, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Library and Information Science and Management
A.     A candidate may be permitted to carry on M.Phil, PhD (full-time, part-time) course when he, she satisfies the following criteria:
i.        Candidates with PG degree of this University or recognized as equivalent thereto shall have a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject of PG. However, a concession of 5% marks is allowed to SC, ST candidates
ii.      Candidates shall have to qualify in the (DURCET) Entrance Test conducted by Dravidian University (or) Candidates who have qualified in GATE,UGC NET,SLET,UGC-RGNF,CSIR INSPIRE holders, any SET of southern states Exam are exempted from DURCET-2015
B.     The Candidates belonging to any one the of the following categories are eligible for pursuing Part-time M.Phil, PhD
i.        A Teacher, Research Assistant, Research Fellow working in the Dravidian University with not less than two years of Regular Service
ii.      Non-Teaching Staff of the Dravidian University with not less than 2 years of Regular Service
iii.    A Teacher working in Dravidian University , other universities with 2 years of teaching experience as Permanent employee , 5 years of teaching experience as Temporary , adhoc employee
iv.   Junior Lecturers in Junior Colleges or Polytechnics, DIET,PG Teachers equivalent to Junior Lecturers working in recognized institutions with 2 years of teaching experience as Permanent employee , 5 years of teaching experience as Temporary , adhoc employee
v.     Librarians, Deputy Librarians, Assistant Librarians, Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors working in Colleges , Junior Colleges with 2 years of experience as Permanent employee,5 years of experience as Temporary, adhoc employee
vi.   Lecturers in Physical Education, Physical Directors working in Colleges, Junior Colleges with 2 years of experience as Permanent employee,5 years of experience as Temporary, adhoc employee
vii. Teachers with PG Degree working in Engineering Colleges with 2 years of teaching experience as Permanent employee , 5 years of teaching experience as Temporary, adhoc employee
viii.           Permanent employees working in reputed National, State Institutions with not less than 2 years of Regular service
ix.   Permanent teachers working in Govt, Aided High Schools with not less than 5 years of Regular Service
x.     An Executive with a minimum of 5 years of service in Commercial Banks, Industries, Financial Institutions, Reputed Service Organizations, Central , State Govt Gazette and Non-Gazetted Officers
i)    The following shall be the order of preference for admission into M.Phil, PhD: a) National Level Test (GATE, UGC-JRF,UGC-CSIR-JRF,UGC-NET); b) State Level Eligibility Test (SLET); c) Rank obtained in DURCET-15
ii)  The rule of reservation shall be implemented in the admission of M.Phil, PhD students as per the Govt of Andhra Pradesh rule of reservation policy
iii)Candidates from Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamilnadu shall have 10% reservation
iv)  Admission to M.Phil & PhD Programs is based on the vacancies available the vacancies may vary at the time of admission, if the exiting candidates submit their thesis or cancel or candidates join under UGC-JRF or SET categories
Entrance Test DURCET - 2015 conducted by the Dravidian University consists of 120 multiple-choice questions - 30 questions on General Aptitude and 90 questions from concerned subject at P.G level
Medium of exam is English except for Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Tulu Subjects. This exam will be conducted on 12th December 2015 at 02.00 p.m., Venue: Dravidian University Campus, Kuppam

Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University has announced the exam dates for Vel Tech Technical University Engineering Scholarship Eligibility Examination (VTUEEE), which will be conducted in January, April 2016. The VTUEEE paper and pencil test for phase I will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 and for phase II, VTUEEE will be conducted on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
VTUEEE is conducted for the award of Mahatma Gandhi National merit scholarship for 4 year B.Tech degrees programs of the university.
«      The applicant should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination conducted by CBSE, ISCE, any State Board, the NIOS or the High School Certificate (HSC) Examination conducted under the direction of Cambridge University;
«      Candidates who have passed or appeared for the two-year Pre-University or Intermediate Exam conducted by a recognized University or Board will also be permitted to take up the scholarship eligibility test;
«      Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying exam in April, May 2016 will also be allowed to appear for the Engineering Entrance Exam.
«      Students pursuing a Full Time, Regular and Formal academic or vocational course from a recognized higher secondary school or Junior college as stipulated by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi will also be considered eligible to apply.
«      The qualifying exam should have been passed by applicants with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and Biology or Chemistry as optional subjects.
«      Applicants are also required to have secured a minimum aggregate score of 135,300 or 270,600 in PCM in case they belong to the General category and 120,300 or 240,600 if they belong to the reserved category. Candidates are also to note that the aggregate percentage will not be rounded off.
«      Only candidates who have not attained 24 years of age as on 31 August 2015 will be taken into consideration. In specific cases, however, the benefit of age relaxation may be extended by the management.
Candidates, who are interested in appearing for the Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam (VTUEEE), can send in their applications through the official website of the University i.e. website. The VTUEEE 2016 Application Form can also be downloaded from the website or obtained by post or in person from the University Office. Candidates enrolling for the entrance exam will also have to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- the payment of which can either be made via one of the Net Banking facilities or by Demand Draft.
The admit cards for the Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam is expected to be issued in the month of April 2016. The admit cards will be uploaded on the official website of the University i.e. website. Candidates are required to download and carry their admit card along with an ID proof on the day of the examination to confirm their candidature.
The Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam (VTUEEE) will comprise of three parts viz., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test will be for duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes and will consist of multiple choice questions only. While negative marking will not be applicable for the test, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer.

All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi has announced the exam dates for Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT), which will be conducted in May 2016. The AIMA UGAT will be held on Saturday, May 07, 2016.
Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) has been designed and administered with an objective of supporting 10+2 students for admission to bachelor programs i.e., integrated Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) E-Com, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) IT, Bachelor of Foreign Trade, Bachelor of Information Technology and Management, etc. on behalf of participating member institutes.
·         The minimum qualification is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
·         Students appearing, appeared in 10+2 can also apply.
·         There is no age bar to appear in UGAT.
·         Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to apply:
·         Purchase the UGAT Bulletin with the registration form against cash payment of Rs. 500/- from listed institutes or from AIMA, Lodhi Road New Delhi
·         Candidates can apply online by making payment of Rs. 500/- through net banking. Or
·         Candidates can apply online along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi. Or
·         Obtain UGAT bulletin and application form by post, by sending a demand draft for Rs. 500/- to AIMA, drawn in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi alongwith two self-addressed slips , adhesive stickers.
·         UGAT is usually conducted once in a year.
·         Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test: Paper Based Test or Computer Based Test.
·         UGAT is an objective type test. The test is designed to measure a candidate's general aptitude and technical skills. Also, there will be negative marking for wrong answers.

ð      Duration of the KEE – 2016 will be 2 hours and 30 minutes

ð      Each question will have 4 alternate answers. The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded in the OMR answer sheet. 
ð      KEE - 2016 is an objective type examination, in which questions will be covered from the +2, HSC level subjects namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry & General Aptitude and Christian Values, General Ethics.

Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) exam dates have been announced by Manipal University (MU), Udupi. The MU OET will be held between Thursday, April 14, 2016 and Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Candidates can select the test schedule of their choice in the Online Test Booking System.
MU OET is conducted for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and lateral entry to B.Tech programs for the academic session 2016.
Duration: 4 years
Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
Lateral Entry:
Duration: 3 years
Candidates are admitted directly to 2nd year
Qualification: 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.
Admissions:
General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.
Foreign,NRI Category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Note: Candidates can apply both under General and Foreign,NRI categories. Change of category from Foreign,NRI to General after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Rank will be awarded to all the candidates who will qualify the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) 2016. However, the other factors below will also hold weightage during the selection.

MU OET Application Form
The application form of MU OET 2016 is available online, on the official website. However, a direct link to it is also given above. Candidates who will not submit the Manipal University 2016 application form, will not be issued an admit card. Hence, will not be able to write the exam. To fill and submit the form online, candidates will have to register on the official website and pay the application fee. The detailed application procedure and the application fee of Manipal entrance exam is given below.
·         Go to the official website of MU OET and click on register online
·         Submit all the details correctly
·         Candidates will receive the specific Application Number and password on their registered email id
·         Log-in the website by entering the application number and password.
·         Candidates will have to fill all the necessary information in 05 Steps including basic details, Programmes Selection, Contact details, Educational Qualification and Confirmation.
·         Next, candidates will have to submit the application fee, through any of the online payment modes
·         Upload scanned copy of the recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format
·         Click the submit tab for submission of the application form.
It is vital to pay the application fee of MU OET because without remitting it the application procedure will not end. The amount of fee to be remitted will be announced through the information brochure. However, till then candidates may check the fee amount of last year. It is predicted that even this year the amount of fee will be the same as last year.

·         For MUOET 2016 Entrance Exam fee: Rs 1000 
Candidates can either opt for online mode or offline mode for submitting the application fee. 
Online Mode– Candidates have to pay application fee on mentioned amount through online mode via Net Banking or Credit Card
Offline Mode– Candidates who are unable to submit fee through online mode can opt for the offline procedure, where they can make the payment through the demand draft of Rs. 1600. The DD should be drawn in favor of “Manipal University” payable at Udupi or Manipal.

·         The exam pattern of MU OET is as described below:
·         It is a Computer Based Examination
·         Duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes)
·         Total number of questions in the exam will be 200
·         All the questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) types
·         The examination will comprise of 04 different sections named, Physics (50 Questions), Chemistry (50 Questions), Mathematics (70 Questions), English & General Aptitude (30 Questions).
Paper Pattern for MU OET 2016:
·         The test is two and a half hours long. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
·         The approximate distribution of questions is as follows: Physics -50, Chemistry-50, Mathematics-70, and English & General Aptitude-30.
