HPU Shimla Entrance Test notification for BAMS & BHMS Admissions 2015
An All India Combined Entrance Test for admission to BAMS & BHMS Courses in RG Govt. PG Ayurvedic College, Paprola, (Kangra) and Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (Pvt.), Kumarhati, (Solan) H.P. respectively will be held on 28th June 2015 (Sunday) at Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Mandi and Shimla Examination Centres
The Himachal Pradesh University will conduct a Combined Entrance Test on behalf of Govt. of HImachal Pradesh, Deptt. of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (Ayurveda) in terms of provisions contained in chapter XIV of the First Ordinances of the Himachal Pradesh University (as amended from time to time) for admission to BAMS Course in Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Post Graduate Ayurvedic College, Paprola, Distt. Kangra (H.P.) and for State Quota seats as also Management Quota Seats in BHMS Course in Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Kumarhatti-173229 Distt. Solan an affiliated college of the University
Duration for HPU Shimla BAMS BHMS Courses: 5½ years including one-year compulsory rotatory internship
Number of HPU 2015 Seats:
i) In BAMS Course, 41 seats out of total 50 seats will be filled up from eligible Bonafide Himachali Candidates under
Group-I: Two seats are reserved for Govt. of India Nominees (Allocated to the state of J&K) under
Group-II: Out of Remaining seven seats under Group-III, one seat shall be reserved for Malaysian Nationals and one for ICCR sponsored candidate. Remaining five seats under Group-III shall be filled up on All India Basis in which Bonafide Himachali who have applied under Group-I shall also be considered.
ii) In BHMS Course, 47 seats out of total 75 seats will be filled up under State Quota and remaining 28 seats under Management Quota Seats
Note: The admissions to the BAMS Course will be subject to approval of the CCIM and Central Council (CCH) in case of BHMS
Himachal Pradesh University Educational Qualification for BAMS Courses: Candidates should have passed, appeared in any one of the qualifying exam at the time of applying for the entrance test:
10+2 new Course Examination of a University, Board estd by law in India, or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects which shall include a practical test in Science subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC, ST,OBC) and has also qualified the subject of English (or)
The B.Sc Degree with 50% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBC) of a University estd by law in India with any three subjects out of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Physics, Human Anatomy and Bio-Chemistry; provided that such a candidate must have passed the Pre-Medical or an equivalent exam with English as compulsory subject of Board, University estd by law in India
Any examination of a University, Board, College or School in a foreign country, recognized as equivalent for the purpose by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi
Candidates will be admitted to the BAMS, BHMS Courses strictly on the basis of merit provided he, she has secured at least 40% marks in the Entrance Test in the case of SC, ST, OBC and at least 50% marks in the case of other categories
The Candidate should have already completed or should complete the age of 17 years and must not have completed 25 years of age on 31st December 2015 of the year of the concerned competitive exam
Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation, Higher Secondary Certificate, Indian School Certificate will only be valid
Educational Qualification for BHMS Course: The candidate should have passed 10+2 from H.P. Board of School Education or from a recognized Board or equivalent degree, examination passed with Science (Medical group with Physics, Chemistry & Biology) of the University, H.P. Board of School Education in Science subjects
Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2015 of the year of admission to the first Prof. of the course
Blind (including colour blind), deaf and, or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission to the course
The admission to the BAMS, BHMS course will be on the basis of Entrance Test to be conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Universityat Dharmshala, Hamirpur, Mandi & Shimla Exam Centres
The Roll Number, Admit Cards shall have to be downloaded by the candidates from the University Websites 
The exam shall consist of one combined paper only, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry (Including Organic Chemistry) and Biology in accordance with the syllabi of studies based on NCERT books
The medium of examination shall be English; the question paper will be of objective (MCQ) type; there will be 150 questions of one mark each in all; 50 questions each of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
The Entrance Test will be 2½ hours duration; thereafter before declaration of the result, the key answers will be displayed on the Notice Board of the University for seven days i.e. from 02nd July 2015 to 08th July 2015
The key answers will also be made available on the university website 
In case a candidate intends to obtain photocopy of his,her OMR Answer Sheet he,she can apply for the same within seven days from the declaration of result to the Dean of Studies H.P. Applications are invited for admission into the BDS programme at JSS University for the academic year 2015
Admission Procedure Submission of the application form for entrance test, admission by post or in person along with Photographs and other enclosures on or before 15th June, 2015.
Selection will be made on the merit based on marks secured in qualifying examinations (PUC II, 10+2, HSC or equivalent) in relevant subjects conducted by various Board, Universities and JSSU entrance examination.

The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination 10+2,PUC II ,HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2,HSC examination of any recognized Board, University from any School, Colleges in India, Abroad after 12 years of study.
The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.
The General Merit Candidate should have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together and should have also passed in English language in the qualifying examinations i.e. PUC II,10+2 ,HSC or equivalent.
As per the Dental Council of India (DCI) norms the candidates must have passed these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCB, Further they must secure not less than 50% marks in the Common Entrance Test (JSS University Entrance Test - 2015.)

Panjab University Lateral Entry Entrance Test (PULEET) 2015

Panjab University will hold Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET – 2015) for admission to 2nd Year of B.E. Courses (Session 2015-16) at Chandigarh College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Sector 26, Chandigarh and Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur, on 12th July, 2015 (Sunday).
The lateral entry from Diploma to 2nd year of 4-year B.E. degree level would be open only to 3 year Diploma holders who have completed Matriculation Examination with Physics and Mathematics. In addition, the candidate must have obtained 60% marks in the aggregate in the Diploma Course as required by AICTE.
Admission would be made on the basis of merit obtained in the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The duration of the Entrance Test will be one hour and thirty minutes and it will consist of 75 multiple choice questions of one mark each. The syllabus will be based broadly on the course contents as provided in the Prospectus. There will be negative marking for wrong answers (1, 4 marks will be deducted).
The University will publish merit list of the candidates for the above course on the basis of attainment of minimum of 20% marks (15% in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedules Tribes, and Backward Class) of maximum marks in the Entrance Test.
The admission shall be made on the basis of the Entrance Test and Interview on 5th August 2015.
The Merit list will be prepared according to the criteria mentioned above.
The admit card will be issued to the candidate only provisionally, at the sole risk and responsibility of the candidate subject to final confirmation of their eligibility at the time of admission.
It is further clarified that the candidates will be taking the entrance test at their sole risk and responsibility as far as their eligibility is concerned and the university shall, in no way, be responsible if they are found to be ineligible, later, leading to cancellation of their result or any other consequence(s) emanating from the same.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune has announced the exam dates for B-MAT-II, which will be conducted in June 2015. The B-MAT will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2015.
B-MAT-II is conducted for admission to 2 years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource, Financial Market and dual specialization MBA programs for the session 2015-16.
·         Candidates should be a graduate with bachelor or master’s degree from any discipline who has passed with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university.
·         The candidates in the final year degree (bachelors or masters) are also eligible to apply.
·         The candidate should be an Indian national.
Cost of brochure is Rs. 200/- (Rs. 400/- by post). Entrance test fee is Rs. 1500/-.
The B-MAT 2015 test will consist of in all 200 marks. It consists of 200 multiple choice questions one mark each with four alternatives with only one correct or most appropriate answer. There is no negative marking. The break-up off marks will be as follows:
