The Indian Institute of Forest Management is a sectoral management institute, which constantly endeavors to evolve knowledge useful for the managers in the area of Forest, Environment and Natural Resources Management and allied sectors. Admission to the fully residential two year PGDFM is open to graduates from any discipline provided he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and qualifies through the selection process.
Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor's degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/DA) or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year graduation examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete it before June 30, 2015 and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by IIFM.
STEP-1: Common Admission Test (CAT)
All applicants desirous of seeking admission in PGDFM at IIFM have to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use the CAT score for short-listing the candidates for calling for GD/PI. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

 Have to appear for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI, by responding to their notification published in leading national dailies. IIFM will use XAT score for short-listing the candidates for calling for GD/PI. XLRI have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
In addition to CAT or XAT, the candidate should also apply to IIFM separately through one of the following ways:-
Apply online and remit the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST) through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Netbanking.
Apply online through MPOnline authorized KIOSK Centre - only for the students from Madhya Pradesh and remit the application fee in cash.
Download the application form and send it along with Demand  Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) with all attachments by speed post.
Obtain admission bulletin and the application form personally or by post by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500 for SC/ST) in favour of Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal
Application complete in all respect including the CAT or XAT or both (if applicable) registration number should reach IIFM Bhopal on or before 2nd February 2015.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT/XAT score, will be called for Group discussion and Interview at Bhopal, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata based on the choice of candidates, as mentioned in the Application Form. However, IIFM reserves the right on the allotment of choice of centre to the candidates.
Reservation
As per Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST candidates. For Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the ‘non-creamy ‘layer (NC-OBC) 27% of the seats are reserved. As per the provision under section 39 of the PWD Act, 1995 , 3% of the seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Abled (DA) candidates. The three categories of disability are:- (a) low-vision/blindness, (b) Hearing impairment, and (c) locomotors disability/cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if a candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40% as certified by a Medical Authority as prescribed and explained in the said Act.
The candidates belonging to categories for which seats are reserved need to note and read the eligibility requirements carefully before applying. It should be noted that while it is the endeavor of IIFM that the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PWD(DA)/Non – Creamy OBC categories join the programme in proportions mandated by the law, they have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and a certain minimum level of performance in the admission process.
IIFM is recognized as an Institute of Excellence under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Castes (SC) Students offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. This scholarship (total 4) is available to SC category students at IIFM subject to fulfillment of the conditions laid down by the Ministry. The scholarship will cover expenditure of full-fee and lodging boarding charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate. A laptop for eligible candidates will also be provided during their study at IIFM.

After the first term results are declared, the Institute will prepare a merit list of eligible students based on recommendation of the PFM Committee.

UPPGMET-2015, U P POST GRADUATE MEDICAL ENTRANCE TEST 2015

·         UPPGMET-2015 will be organised for admission in MD/MS/ Post Graduate Diploma Courses for Academic Session 2015-16 in unaided minority as well as non minority member medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
·         The entrance examination will be held on 10th January, 2015, Saturday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
·         There will be a total no. of 250 objective type multiple choice questions as per the guideline of syllabus given in the appendix of this brochure.
·         The UPPGMET-2015 will consists of a maximum of 250 marks.
·         There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
·         More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will also be considered as wrong answer.
The candidate must have completed M.B.B.S. course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
The Internship of the candidate must be completed before April 01, 2015.
The candidate must have his/her registration with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical 5 Council of India.
Subject to Regulations on Post Graduate Medical Education, 2000.
·         The syllabus will be the same as prescribed for the MBBS courses as per Regulation on Post Graduate Medical Education, 2000 framed under IMC Act 1956.
·         No books are prescribed.
·         The questions will generally be of MBBS level.

2.     Downloaded from the website and after printing the same on A-4 sheet, such applications are to be completely filled and sent along with the Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/= in favor of “UPUMCWA” payable at “Bareilly (U.P.)” to the “Coordinator – UPPGMET 2015, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, RampurGarden, Bareilly – 243 001”.
3.     Completely filled Online through the link provided on the website (along with uploading of the signature, recent color passport size photograph, and Left hand thumb impression). A Demand Draft of Rs. 3500/= in favor of “UPUMCWA” payable at “Bareilly (U.P.)” is to be attached with the Confirmation Page after completely filling the form online. The No. of the Demand Draft must be filled at the designated place while filling the form online. Thereafter, the Confirmation Page can be generated and the print of the same is to be sent through Speed Post to the “Coordinator – UPPGMET 2015, First Floor, Anand Ashram Complex, Rampur Garden, Bareilly – 243 001”.

·         The application form after scrutiny shall be processed and applicant will be provided the facility to download his/her admit card along with roll no. from the website: The admit card will allow one to appear in the entrance test.
·         Appropriate information regarding centres shall be mentioned on the admit card. If any document/declaration submitted by the candidate is found to be false at any stage his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she may be liable for prosecutions under law. In case of any legal dispute the jurisdiction will be limited to Bareilly Courts only.
·         The candidates are also instructed to note the Application Form No. and to keep photocopy of submitted application form along with proof of having submitted the application form for any future reference.
·         Incomplete Application Forms will be rejected.
·         Admit Cards will be available for download from the website on 5th January 2015.

KLEU PGAIET 2015 commonly known as Karnataka Lingayat Education University Post-Graduation All India Entrance Test. The PGAIET exam is conducted for admission to the Post-Graduate Medical & Dental Programmes. Candidates are selected to Post-Graduate Medical & Dental Programmes on the basis of result obtained in the entrance exam. Students who qualifies in the entrance exam is selected for PG courses in the KLE University & other constituent colleges. The venues selected for examination are Bangalore, Belgaum, Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad. KLE PGAIET entrance test is usually held in the month of January.
For MD/MS Programs: A candidate who has passed the MBBS degree examination after pursuing a study in a medical college recognized by the medical council of India of this university or other recognized medical college affiliated to any other university, recognized as equivalent thereto, and has completed one year compulsory rotating internship in a teaching institution or other institution recognized by the medical council of India, and has obtained permanent registration of any medical council, shall be eligible to apply.
For MDS Program: A candidate who has passed the BDS degree examination after pursuing a study in a dental college recognized by the dental council of India of this university or of other recognized dental college affiliated to any other university, recognized as equivalent there to, and has completed one year compulsory rotating internship in a teaching institution or other institution recognized by the dental council of India, and has obtained permanent registration from Dental council of India, shall be eligible to apply.

·         The scope of the syllabi for the Postgraduate Medical / Dental entrance test is based on the M.B.B.S/B.D.S. syllabus as prescribed by MCI/DCI, respectively.
·         There will be separate question booklet for Medical and Dental Courses.
·         The test will have 180 multiple-choice, objective type questions.
·         The time allotted for the test would be 180 minutes. The test will begin at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm.
·         Candidates are required to mark their answers in an ICR (Intelligent Character Reader) Answer Sheet.
·         Each correct answer is awarded one mark.
·         There is no Negative Marking for wrong answers.
